Happy New Year, Folks! Sooooo…how are you? How’s it going? How do you feel? Me…How am I??? Chile…Listen, I’ll just say I am very happy to be here! I’ve never really been into the cyclical trends of New Year, New Me, or setting “goals” for the year. The way 2023 behaved, I’m just trying to stay on the right side of right! LOL! I must say 2024 came in with a BANG! I mean right out the gate, but I can say that God is STILL good, and my trusting Him and the process is what I intend to do for the year. Along with that, I will be revisiting meditation. I did it a few years ago, setting declarations or intentions for my day, and I really liked it.
There are MANY benefits of meditating. Meditating reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, helps manage anxiety, improves sleep…and I need each and every one of those things.

What I personally gained from meditating before was that just being still, clearing your mind (the hardest part), and focusing on a daily mantra can make you so aware. My hope is to share a few of my intentions that I’ve used before, and hopefully, you can create a few for yourself or use these. It’s all good, my desire is for us ALL to be better this year!
Today, I choose the path of least resistance. Although I may encounter obstacles, I choose to flow in the energy of love, which will guide me in reaching my goals and destination.
I am enough. Today, I will rest in the realization that I am enough. The qualities, skills, gifts, talents, and values I possess are enough for me to have abundance in life, love, and success.
Today, I will actively seek ways to live my deepest desires. I will not allow my present situation to stifle the energy and spirit in me that will lead me to living my purpose passionately. Today I will learn from life. I will be still, listen, and receive the lesson each situation gives, good or bad; there is growth in it.
Today, I will focus on what I want. I am assured that focusing my intention on what I want is not selfish, but necessary. I will trust my intuition and spirit to show me the steps to take toward having what I want so that I fulfill my purpose.
These are a few of my declarations that have come from the meditations that I carried with me throughout the day, with hopes that you would be encouraged and declare those things as well. I encourage you to take time in the morning to meditate. Not asking for anything, but take a statement like "I am" or “I will” and watch how your deepest thoughts, desires, and truths become so clear.
