URBANE was recently invited to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Alivia Beauty Co. Little Rock’s midtown. Established in 2021, the mother-daughter duo Andrea O. Meachem and Doris Conaway launched the spa to promote natural and healthy skin. Their services include facials, waxing, lash extensions, and makeup.
Sadly, the young co-founder, Andrea, unexpectedly passed away in a house fire in November 2022. Her mother refused to let her daughter’s vision fade away and has worked tirelessly to keep it alive. The grand opening was only one gesture of that effort. Doris is creating a non-profit organization in her daughter’s honor to help keep her memory alive.
