These two, simple words encompass a universe of strength, resilience, and achievements that have shaped our world. From the pioneers who defied expectations to the quiet heroes who change lives every day, women deserve our constant recognition and respect.
History is rife with examples of worthy women. We think of scientists like Alice Ball, whose groundbreaking research developed the first successful treatment for Hansen’s disease (leprosy). Or Mary Church Terrell who was a civil rights activist and one of the first African American women to earn a college degree. Social justice warriors like Rosa Parks or Sarah Parker Remond stand out for their courage in the face of oppression.

But worthy women aren't limited to the history books. They are the doctors, teachers, artists, entrepreneurs, and mothers who selflessly dedicate themselves to their communities and families. They are the ones who overcome personal challenges and emerge stronger. They are the voices that speak up for what's right, even when it's difficult.

But Nisha…Women’s History was in March, how do we continue to honor these worthy women? I’m so glad you asked! Here are a few ways to honor Worthy Women 365 days a year:
  • Amplify their stories. Share the achievements of women you admire, both past and present.
  • Support their endeavors. Whether it's a local business or a social cause championed by a woman, lend your voice and resources.
  • Believe in the power of girls. Encourage young girls to pursue their dreams and know that they are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.
  • Celebrate the women in your life. Let them know how much they are valued and appreciated.

Worthy women are the backbone of our society. By recognizing their contributions and celebrating their strength 365 days a year, we create a world where all women can thrive. Let us continue to uplift and empower these remarkable forces of nature, because together, we can build a brighter future for everyone.
