I'm IN LOVE WITH ANOTHER MAN

Aiden Eslinger Productions put on a stellar musical stage play titled “In Love With Another Man” on February 18th at James H. Clark Auditorium at Conway High School. This production featured Jamie Mack as Michelle Smith, J. ROD as Dr. Marvin Bates, Darrick Bowles as Dr. Richard Smith, Kyia Buckingham as nurse Sarah Lee, and Ms. J. Renia as Anna Mae Jackson. It also featured Latorya Johnson as Nurse Jackie, Jordan Leveque as Rev. Paul Whistleton, Ana Brandon as Megan Smith, Ja’Kylen Croft as Teagan Smith, Loretta Dorsey as Mrs. Peters, and the play’s producer Aiden Eslinger as Rufus Roberts and Lil’ Devin.
The play consisted of two acts and six scenes, as it followed the lives of the hospital staff at Chandler Hospital. The primary theme of the play was the love triangle between Dr. Richard and Mrs. Michelle Smith, and Dr. Marvin Bates. Dr. Smith’s busy schedule keeps him unavailable to make time for his wife. She feels unappreciated and has an affair with the new doctor at the facility, Dr. Bates. The couple was able to keep it under wraps for a short amount of time, but Nurse Jackie and Lil’ Devin caught on to their secret. Michelle and Dr. Bates tried to call it quits with their secret relationship but were too infatuated with each other to do so. This led Michelle to confess her secret to her husband Richard in a love ballad, “In Love with Another Man,” by R&B, soul singer, and recording artist Jasmine Sullivan.
The play was produced, written, and directed by Aiden Eslinger. Eslinger is a 17-year-old author, playwright, filmmaker, and director from Conway, Arkansas. He has been writing since the early age of eight, with a host of plays and three published books on his resume. According to Eslinger’s website, his goal is to elevate his projects and perfect his craft. The “In Love With Another Man” stage play will make you experience an array of emotions and move you with its original songs, all written by its producer Aiden Eslinger. It was recorded live and will be available to the public to view soon.
